This topics seems to make clear that my Select Dining time/restaurant reservations for Edge next month won’t be honoured. I had already diligently made them before I read this thread. To add to the confusion I got an email from Celebrity actively encouraging me to make them this week. Whilst the email is no substitute for people’s real experiences, it does seem extraordinary to me that Celebrity would encourage me to use a system that doesn’t work. Allowing me to make them off my own initiative is one thing, but to email me to do it, whilst experiences of others indicates it’s a waste of time, takes the term “glitch” to a whole new level! To be clear, we will be on a ship, not a work laptop in sight, and I’ve no doubt we will be well fed (albeit perhaps not at our preferred time lol) and that we will have a ball, so I’m not at all worried but I did think I’d share the email in case it adds something to the thread.

Apologies if I’m repeating, or asking an obvious, question but I’ve had little luck with the search function. Travelling on an Edge in New Zealand in Feb and thinking of trying to book both these restaurants for a dinner. 1. I assume the garden grill is all open air. If the weather is awful on our chosen evening, I assume the grill reservation would be cancelled, refunded and we just have to eat in an alternative venue. Assumptions can be a bad idea though so might someone be able to advise please ? 2. Eden appears to have a plant based and meat based menu. Are both available each evening please? Thanks in advance.

We are fairly new to cruising and Celebrity so I'm looking for some guidance from kind souls who have more experience 🙂 Sailing on Edge in Feb and if I book individual specialty dining slots, I cannot see if they refundable. I've tried searching the T&C's but they all seem to relate to the cruise itself. I can see that "packages" seem NOT to be refundable but I am not sure if the term "package" applies to say a booking in Eden for dinner on Day 6. I'm sorry this such a boring and obvious topic for all experienced cruisers but I was thinking of scheduling the dining now, in case it sells out, but clearly much of the trip is not yet planned so it is possible I would need to cancel/try to move a dining slot at a later date. While I have your kind attention, if I understand correctly, Edge has 1 MDR but it is split into 4 different zones with separate menus, so even if we cannot get any speciality dining, we can still have a slightly different dining experience each night in theory. Do I have that right please?
