Yes, we are in the UK and I'm pretty sure the terms and conditions were guests 1 and 2 only. No extra gratuities on top of the fare tho, so it's swings and roundabouts! 🤷🏻♀️

Actually, the drink package is now for guests 1-8. This changed sometime this past spring - maybe around the same time as the # of dining nights (I don't remember exactly when it was changed)?
Premium Beverage Package (Open Bar)
Premium Beverage Package is applicable to all qualified sailings excluding Pride of America.
Applicable to guests 1-8 on the reservation. If 3-8 guest is under 21 years of age, Premium Beverage package does not apply and soda package will not be given as a substitution.
Guest 1-2 must be at least 21 years of age at time of sailing to qualify for the Premium Beverage Package. Guests under 21 will receive the soda package. We have booked with some free at sea packages for the Med, next May on Dawn, and the drinks package only applies to guests 1 and 2 in a cabin, not the 3rd 🤔

TA has come back saying it would be £1200+ on top of the original balance 😮
Seems a lot considering the mock quotes on NCL website were not very different... I will not be paying that to switch, and will be content as the 3rd in a cabin instead!!

I've contacted my TA about this request, and await a quote for the changes... I'll let you know what they come back with!

Not called NCL yet, as I dont currently have my ref number to hand. Just thought I'd see if anyone had tried anything similar! [emoji846]

I'm not really looking to cancel and rebook, just make an amendment, as it is part of a package with flights and pre-stay through a travel agent.
-
It would be on Norweigian Dawn, and not yet paid final balance, only deposit.
I have tried a mock booking for 1, and it is not charge double occupancy on this sailing!

Hello,
Does anyone know if it would be possible to switch out of a cabin of 3 into a single cabin (so one cabin of 2 and one of 1) if you are booked onto a sailing that offers 'single discount'/no single supplement.
Obviously this would be if the single fare is less than or equal to what you have paid. If not, could you still do it and pay the extra?
Thanks!

Hi all, I have a quick question, just out of curiosity (nothing currently booked). If I was to book a cruise quite far in advance with 3 adults in one room, and sometime between booking and traveling somebody else wanted to come, could I swap one adult from the room of 3 to a new room of 2 with the new traveller? If anyone has done this, I'd love to hear how easy/difficult it was!

The risotto in the Glass House is amazing - I had it twice! And loved the raspberry meringue/marshmallow type dessert. In the beach house I asked for the Sizzler plate with chicken AND halloumi, which was no problem and the portion size was huge! Very tasty :)

Just returned from 2 weeks on Azura, and please to inform that 3 adults in the superior balcony cabin way fine, very spacious when the sofa bed was folded away, and no problem accessing the balcony when the bed was down!

Thanks all for your replies! I will be the one sleeping on the sofa bed, so I will have to put up with being woken up by someone hurdling over my bed and opening a noisy door [emoji12] good job I'm great at dozing back off

Thanks, HTP! How did you find the tours from other islands? We will be visiting at the end of March - I hope this is a good time to see whales and that the seas won't be too rough!

By private, I mean independent (rather than cruise ship excursions), not only for your party

Has anyone done a private whale watching tour in the Azores? I've heard it's a great place for whale watching!

Thanks for your replies! I was mainly wondering, as one member of the party likes to get up earlier and sit out on the balcony, whilst someone may still be sleeping in the sofa bed - perhaps if they hop across the bed this would still be accessible? Another question - how have you all found the storage situation for more than 2 guests? We are all really looking forward to the cruise, not looking for reasons to change the cabin, just want to be prepared!

Hi all,
My family (3 adults) are travelling in a superior deluxe balcony cabin on the Azura, and wondered if anyone else who had could advise:
1 - is the sofa bed made up each night and put back as a sofa during the day by the cabin steward?
2 - is it still possible to get past the sofa bed (when made up as a bed) and use the balcony?
Thanks! Any other tips for more than 2 people in a cabin would also be appreciated!

I think we may not bother then - what's the worst that can happen?!

Hello all,
Can anybody advise whether there is an additional cost to book particular seats on the flights to Barbados?
Thanks!
