  1. Indeed it was, perhaps in 2000 and before. I go back to 1995! Dancing was on the stage.
  2. There was ballroom in Galaxy many years ago, it was called pre-theater dancing. No more though.
  3. I agree it would be very nice to see who will be on the ship on each segment. If I am waffling between two itineraries, who the entertainers and lecturers will be on each would play a big part in which segment I choose to book. I wish the info was available on the web site for all to see, like it used to be, not locked behind an already made booking.

OK, we get it. The point is it's not going to change just because you keep complaining about it. There are so many choices. As Keith said, adapt. Or perhaps find a cruise line more to your liking or another less port intensive itinerary. But I think the horse is now fully beaten.

So sad that you are so hung up on LUNCH! You are obviously looking for a much more formal lunch than is offered on Crystal at lunch time in port. Perhaps Marketplace, which serves pretty much the same food as Waterside, you could ask the waiter for a white tablecloth, a linen napkin, and ask him or her to serve you.......

I love your idea of renting a golf course! Maybe you could take us ALL out to lunch!😁

We wish Waterside would be open but understand the reason. We often go ashore and fins some wonderful little cafe or restaurant and enjoy a nice lunch. Is that a possibility for you?

I can't wait, I get hungry just looking at the pictures. We love trying new things.
  9. On OC they were required to sit in the back.
  10. Hmmm not very inclusive of the whole experience!
  11. So what does it ask? Just overall thumbs up or down?
  12. Last time we forwarded, the informed delivery was inactive so we had no idea what to expect. January and February are critical for us as that is 1099 and W-2 time so we always breathe a sigh of relief when we get home.
  13. When we go away for more than 30 days (the longest USPS will actually hold your mail) we temporarily forward it to a relative and retrieve when we get home. A temporary forward gives you the ability to cancel it when you get home. Plus what Rob said #2 and #3.

    Symphony

    Any news from Symphony?
  15. We did the Crystal overnight Luxor trip, can't remember the cost but it was worth every penny and then some!
  16. Only Symphony had deck 5 guest rooms, never on Serenity. Guest rooms start on 7.
  17. Nice to know you can reserve now, on our last cruise they wouldn't let us reserve, Paolo was adamant it was first come first served.
  18. I still don’t see why anyone cares. I certainly don’t.
  19. Interesting that some people care so much about who paid. And skeptical when the man said they made $$ with youtube not from cruise line.
  20. Many years ago I got distracted while packing to leave the ship the following morning and when I was getting dressed I discovered I had packed my shoes! Thank goodness for the spa slippers in the closet! I toddled off the ship and all the way through the terminal in Athens and was able to retrieve a pair of shoes from my suitcase before flight check-in. But thank goodness for those way too big spa slippers!
  21. If anyone remembers the TV show "Moonlighting" with Cybil Shephard - she had terrible foot issues and always wore Reeboks, no matter where or with what. And today, fancy sneakers are "it" for brides. There are many more fashion issues to worry about than someone's shoes!
  22. 15? I can sympathize - DH wears a 12 and he limits himself to 1 pair of dress shoes, 2 pair loafer of type and 1 pair of sandals - I make him wear the sneakers on the plane! I can usually fit all mine either inside his or all around but it's still an entire layer of the suitcase!
