I received a telephone call from Celebrity for the September 7 cruise, and they told me boarding started at 1230 PM.

You will most likely get an email or text a few days before your sailing with the suggested boarding time.

 

Generally boarding begins about 11-11:30 but the cabins are not ready until about 1:30. So if you board at 12 you will have to keep any carry on luggage with you until the cabins are ready.

I understand there are staggered times depending upon which room you are in. We are on Level 7.

We are a family of three -after today's bombings in Istanbul we will be cancelling our cruise - unless CC alters the itinerary and avoids Turkey altogether. It's just not worth it.

Does anyone know if the Celebrity Equinox 7th September 2016 cruise is still departing from Istanbul? In light of the recent turmoil in Istanbul we are wondering if CC will make a last minute decision to avoid Turkey altogether. We hope CC will give us enough time to rearrange our flights if this is the case.
