GUT2407 Posted September 26, 2017 Author #326 Share Posted September 26, 2017 And Vets don't bulk bill either. They don't miss you with their fees. My granddaughter is studying Veterinary Science @ James Cook Uni, Townsville. 5 year degree, hard slog, then she might make some money eh? :') True. Our vet though was great, but has just retired, I'm not sure if we will stick with the new owners or not, they seem more interested in $$$ than care. I often wish I could be like doctors and vets etc and say "now come back next week" (so I can charge you another $80 for five minutes). Now as for doctors..... last six weeks, three visits to the GP, two x Ray sessions, three MRIs, Four soecialist appointments and a Nerve conduction study. Eek might be just as well I've had to limit my cruises, not sure I can afford them after all that.

Will all that cost, you might have to drop the suites and go back to interior cabins or even obstructed view cabins, like we take often.:halo: Have one of those on Sapphire Princess next year, but have balcony on both Adonia cruises after that one.

Yeah sometimes I look forward to hearing what they'll find next, other times I am, frankly, terrified.

Good to see a man still measuring in the old money. :* I don't like this new fangled metric stuff. I got the NBN on today, my head is spinning with the speed of the puter. lol. LC1950 Posted September 29, 2017 #337 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Imperial, metric, NBN - what the hell would I know? :o But I know one thing - Mr Max is just gorgeous. I'm sending him a cyber hug (no NBN here yet) and a little cyber treat as I type. :* LOL Gut, I notice you read the same authors as my DH - James Patterson, Harlan Coban, David Baldacci, etc. Have you checked out Daniel Silva's novels yet? A little 'formulaic' but still a good read and perfect to take on a cruise.

And not only is he gorgeous he has done a lot for my state of mind as I battle everything else that’s going on.

I interchange between imperial and metric, I was born in the metric system but taught my trade by people who were not, so I had to learn both ways.:D
