Says nothing. ??????

That is what I meant! Just the date of 10.10.18.

It's the same thing they did with the refurbishment of the other ships. Just a teaser that an announcement is coming.

I guess we have to be patient ........ it's only a few days.

Why bother to post a date and say nothing about what is to be done. Want to see something real not just a lot of words

It's supposed to create a buzz. To get people interested in their big announcement. Although they did the same thing just a couple of months ago with the other ships so I'm not sure how much excitement they can expect.

Sounds exciting! Same teasers as HAL!!! But for us this is our first TA from Miami over to Venice and we thought they were great just the way they were, and now they will look great with the new color scheme if that is what it is!

Savor the Journey was the big thing with HAL with their big announcement a couple of years ago!! Big deal......

We’re 4 star Mariners and as with your Oceania Club things changed which was a benefit to HAL and not to the devoted HAL Mariners.

So I will see!

I do appreciate the honesty on this board!

Sincerely

Denise😊

I wish the library would be reconfigured, Baristas relocated, the casino bar redecorated in a less garish look, the shops stocked differently.

Although we like the O class cabins, we much prefer the R class public areas.

I agree the library layout needs a redo with better lighting and relocated seating. But otherwise these two ships pretty much dazzle me.

Agreed, but changing the furniture in the Library won't change much as long as it remains a glorified hallway to Baristas. What would somewhat fix the issue is resizing those Deck Pantries at either side of the Deck 14 Elevator lobbies in such a way that it also becomes possible for passengers to walk to Baristas on the outdoor deck.

Do you mean enclose part of the outdoor deck space to create a wider walk way?

as it stands you CAN go out the door near the restaurants & come back in near Barristas avoiding the Library

I believe that the exit door which you are referencing is IN the Library.

I was suggesting making a door directly from the Elevator Lobby to the Deck. :D

No both doors are before the library begins/ends

The aft door is close to the same level as the elevators & the forward ones are just near the last of the library..there is a seating area just across from the doorway

If you look at this photo you see the outside railing of the stairs the door is right at the top of those stairs

Do you really think they are going to be knocking out walls and doing major construction? I would guess this is just a redo of furniture, carpeting, drapes....general decor. Consistent with the R ship refurb. Do you think this will be much more than that?

Nope, it's right around the corner from Baristas, where they put out the little sandwiches and cookies. The library starts after that.

The doors to the outside at the aft are right by the entrances to Polo & Toscano.

After looking at the picture I agree that there is a sign there that says

"The Library", but the books don't start until you get past that seating area.

Yes technically it is part of the library but people sit there with their coffees :halo:

rarely do I see people reading there unless a cold sea day ;)
