Visiting Olden, Norway? Be aware!

Are you visiting Olden (Norway) these days? Be aware of the nude protester against cruise tourism!

Haha we were there 2 weeks ago and didn’t see him.. shame

Dont worried,you will never see him....he is just a stupid green man from another part of Norway who was visit our village,hope he never coming back.

Olden is a great port. The Loen skylift is amazing, and we really liked the Briksdal glacier (and it has a very helpful troll car you can rent to take you most of the way - my 2 year old was able to hike to his first glacier thanks to that!)

I do understand the downsides to cruising, but for those of us with small children, elderly and passengers with disabilities it might be the only way we get to travel.

When you say a "green" man, is he an ardent environmentalist, or has he actually painted himself green? That would be interesting....
