WHich currency will be needed?

We are going on a cruise stopping at Greenland, Iceland and Norway? Will I need to have local currency for each place or will Euros be acceptable?

In Greenland we were able to use Euros and USA dollars in some small shops and also used Credit Cards.

In Norway we did need local currency.

For Iceland I was able to stick with credit card so can't help you on that one.

It depends on what you are doing.

I was in Norway this summer. I tried to pay for excursions in advance with my credit card. Some tours wanted Euros or Norway NOK (private booked with locals). I bought a few things with the NOK but not as much as I thought. I could use my credit card for many things in Norway.

in Norway we used Euros and creditcard without any problem.
