Rose Island

Hello!

I would love to hit this island (excursion) while docked in Nassau! We arrive in Nassau at 8:00 a.m and leave at 6:00 p.m. Enough time? Were there truly pigs there? If so, super cool! A trip to the Exumas's to see the pigs was out of my price range for excursion. Also..there wasn't enough time BTW... I am a solo traveler.

Thanks! I researched and apparently they don't run on Thursdays (day in port). Big huge DARN! I soooo wanted to go. :(

We sail to Rose Island on one of the sailboats operated by Barefoot sailing when in Nassau.

We are booked with Island Time Charters for a private snorkel tour next month. They do tours to the pigs/out islands but won’t do them for cruise ship guests unless you’re docked overnight due to the distance. Not sure if that’s the same distance as Rose Island?

Island Time is 1 1/2 - 2 hr ride in open waters to Exuma

Rose Island take 20 mins or so and is just off the end of Paradise Island
