we will be sailing on the Zuiderdam and are wondering about purchasing the internet package. Has anyone done so? Is the internet reliable? Normally we wouldn’t do so but we have a business problem and need to keep in touch. Thanks for your help!

Where are you cruising to? That can make a difference in internet reception.

Internet can be decent to painfully slow depending on where you are and how the satellite reception is.

It's satellite reception so not like high speed at home.

Overall, it's been decent for us other than the South Pacific (zilch for 2 days) and in a couple of other spots but that was temporary.

You can read emails and load pages, slowly. Sending photos is awful.

Our internet on Nordam and westerdam was plenty sufficient for checking email, social media and surfing web a bit for various reasons......but we heard from some that it was sometimes slow with video and loading a lot of pictures. We were lucky and got a great deal on westerdam internet on our 2 week Panama Canal trip.....cheaper than most week rates.
