St Catherine Beach is about a 25 minute walk from the ferry dock just past Tobacco Bay.

There are taxis available, but I would not say plenty.

Tobacco Bay is very calm. We walked from the ferry, it was about 20 minutes but the day we walked was so hot it felt like forever. There was a small shuttle bus available and we took a taxi back to the ferry.

I don't remember the exact price but it was cheap.
