Hi all,

I'm new to cruising and have a cruise booked for April, today i received an email saying my cabin has been recategorised from OF to OZ. Now i know this means no cabin change (still same cabin) but what does it mean in terms of payment? ie, is my cabin now worth less, more or the same?

Thank you in advance.

You should contact the cruise line or travel agent (if you used one for your booking) to confirm. But typically a categorization change would result in a pricing change for that category. However, once you book your stateroom, the rate you booked cannot increase and even with that type of change your rate should remain unchanged. It can, however, decrease and depending on policy you might see that decrease. But again, contact your cruise line or TA to confirm.
