Transport from Long Beach Airport to Port

We need help finding transportation from airport to port- Carnival Splendor. I need to stop at a store for soda and wine to bring on ship.

Sounds like Uber or taxi for sure.

CruiserBruce is correct. Go with Uber or Lyft or a Taxi but I would go with Uber or Lyft as my first choice(s) over a taxi.

I guess I need to find a store on the way to stop at, then call another Uber to bring to ship.

That is not the point. If you are going to stop and shop, you will probably be able to pay/tip the taxi/Uber to stand by while you shop. I can't think of any other transport type that you can do that with.

Here's an alternate solution--since I assume you will have your luggage with you...

Take an Uber or shuttle directly from the Airport to the Cruise terminal...Drop off your luggage.

Then pick up the free Passport Shuttle right outside the Queen Mary--right next to the terminal and take it to First and Elm. Walk about one block north on Elm to Broadway and two blocks east to Atlantic...There is a Vons Supermarket at Broadway and Atlantic where you can buy anything you want--and won't have to deal with your luggage while doing this (consider having a large knapsack or something like that with you to carry your purchases. Then walk back to the Passport route and take the free shuttle back to the terminal.

Otherwise, you likely need to leave that Uber in "holding time" while you shop just so that you have some place to leave your luggage.

Great idea! I think we will take an Uber to Vons Supermarket to get wine and soda.
