ms Zaandam & ms Volendam in Juneau July 20, 2018

Zaandam will be in Juneau at the AS dock from 0800-2200. Volendam will be coming in later (1300-2200) at the CT dock.

Roy is going to have a nice day in Juneau with partly cloudy skies (only 10% chance of rain) and a high of 75F/24C and a low of 52F/11C. Sunrise is at 4:25 am and sunset at 9:42 pm.

The only other ship in port is Seabourn Sojourn at the AJ dock from 0800-2200.

Have a great sail-in. I doubt if there will be anything to see when we leave but I hope to be out on deck, especially with the Zaandam there as well. I'll be in Tracy Arm when the Volendam arrives.

Northern Lights

According to http://auroraforecast.gi.alaska.edu/ there will be Auroral activity tonight (4). Obviously not as visible as further north, but those in the area may see something, depending on the skies.

Volendam not due until 1 pm Alaska time.

Figured that out while strolling through town. Stores have signs out welcoming our three ships along with their arrival times!!!
