Symphony of the Seas February 2019

Hello fellow cruisers! We will be visiting St. Maarten, St. Thomas and the Bahamas with our children (who all have never cruised - ages 18, 11, and 9. Looking at shore excursions and have no idea what to schedule. If you could share one of your favorite things you've done in any of the ports it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! :D

Google your ports or get a guidebook...find out what sort of things interest your family. The more you know about what is offered in each place, the better time you will have! Rarely, especially in those ports, is an "excursion" needed. These are very easy DIY places! Saves money, too...a family of 5 can be quite pricey!

you have plenty of time to go through your particular port of call boards and seek out the best beaches, activities, excursions, etc.

We did the RCCL ship sponsored Kayak & Snorkle tour in St. Maartin and had a blast! My teenage boys were with us and loved the activity level. The guys that ran it were Dutch and an absolute blast. We would definitely do it again, but now that we know they are great, we would probably book privately.
