Clothing for End of Sept

I am going on the 9 day New England/Canada cruise on Sept 20 on the Anthem. While the ship will have AC on at all times, anyone have any idea what the outside temps may be? Short sleeves? Long sleeves? Long pants? Capris?

Unpredictably warm or cool prepare for hoodie weather or tshirt weather. Probably as low as 10 degrees or as high as 25 degrees.

Last October we were on this Anthem itinerary and took lots of warm clothes...we didn't need them.

So I should lean toward capris?

I would bring both, capris should be fine. The key is layers, don't overload bringing a heavy jacket, a hoodie under a windbreaker does well if it is cool and damp. Here is a site about Canada ports, each one has weather info:

I live where it gets cold, when I travel in winter, I never bring a heavy jacket. The key is layers! :)

I agree ...layering is the key.... I can also add....after a few Canada/NE cruises..I can say..the coldest times are on deck when ship is hauling!!! It can be very windy on decks.

This is a timely thread for me since I too board in Montreal on September 19th, heading up to Nfld and back. I live in eastern Canada so the weather is no great surprise. With climate change I'm expecting anything. I may get to wear those capris and sandals but I'll be prepared for rain and chill winds.

Great point and I should have mentioned in my post, I'm prepared for rain. I have poncho that has a detachable hood, zipper pockets, heavier than most but well worth it. I like walking tours and find umbrellas annoying. I never travel with one.
