Venice marathon 10/28 plus one other question

Looks like I can take the blue line Alilaguna to my hotel from the airport as it very close to the San Zaccaria ferry terminal. Can I then take the same Alilaguna blue line to the cruise terminal Crociere for departure on the NCL Star few days later? We will have luggage so I think that's preferable to a vaporetto.

Second question 10/28/18 our departure date is the same date as the Venice marathon. There will be over 5K runners seems like it's going to be crazy crowed as the race ends at the Riva SetteMartiri not far from San Zaccaria. Not sure how best to avoid the crowds going to the cruise terminal?
