Will you please explain to me why you would wear PJ's in the dining room? I am not being snarky, I just don't understand the reasoning behind wearing them there.

I understand the PP’s comment was TIC, but the answer to your question is “probably for the same reason people wear PJ’s on planes.”

I realized you were being sarcastic after I posted. Originally, I asked because I have seen people on the ship wearing pj's in the morning going for coffee etc. I really wanted to know why someone would walk around the ship in pj's. I also wonder about those who walk around in the morning with their bathrobes on. I have also seen pj's in the grocery store, which again, I don't understand.

I do stay in pj's at home, albeit not all day, but that's in my own place, not in public.

My husband and I went to the local diner for a Sunday breakfast and in walked a woman and I assume her adult( ish) son. They literally looked like they rolled out of bed! Bud light fuzzy pj pants baggy T shirt and messy hair...I never saw what the other was wearing because I choked when my husband asked where the trailer park was.

The Company Store.com has the cutest pjs and nightshirts in nautical prints: fish, sailboats, crabs, flamingos, seagulls. They are made from a quality cotton poplin, with piping edges and feel crisp and comfy. Got 2 pairs of the short pjs because I like to be decently dressed when room service, etc, is coming in the room. They are sea-worthy!456a0009216e88361a342617b5eb77d3.jpg

Well, I took a look and ended up

buying a pair. On sale but still kind

of expensive.

I usually just sleep in a t-shirt, undies

and footies. MY feet are always cold!

This time we are traveling with other

family, so need to be able to answer

the door and look decent.

Hope they come in time, as we leave

to go to Fl first before the cruise in

July.

Being shipped FedEx ground from

NJ to here in Va.

Have 3 more days before we leave.

As far as wearing PJ's out side of your

house is ridiculous!!

I don't spend money on cute clothes

and plan my wardrobe for a cruise to

then wear PJ's out in public.

The trend of teen girls wearing them

on planes is sad. They look awful and

It's too bad the airlines don't set some

basic rules for attire. During the winter

I think 1 AL did refuse to let some

Teen girls fly in leggings.

They looked fine! Had on long sweaters that covered their back sides. That was over kill.

We have a aft balcony on the Sunshine going down to Aruba and

2 other places. I will wear these out

On the balcony as it will be like shorts

& A shirt. Nothing personal to see.

I also saw a cut dog pattern one I

would have ordered if they had my

size in.

Thanks for posting as I never go to

that site.

We eat breakfast in our  PJs at home, but wouldn't do it in the dining room  or buffet of a cruise ship.

The ones in the top picture are adorable, and I just bought a similar pair in Marshalls.  Mine are the same style, cotton, but with stripes instead of print.
