I am really happy to have received another MSC cruise offer from Mohegan. I really enjoyed the first one on the Seaside, but I was able to pick up the next one. The timing works out perfectly this time :) Anyone else picking one up this weekend?

How do you get the free cruises? I frequent Mohegan on a regular basis, but have never received this type of offer.

Same here. Spending the night and hoping I don't end up paying for the cruise ;p

Oh, lucky you. I am headed to the Venetian in November to get a Princess certificate! Love MSC.

I have that offer too, but they raised the points needed to upgrade to a level I am not happy with. That and airfare from the east coast made it not worth it this time. I am pleased that they are back to using Princess though, since the Carnival offers didn't interest me in the least. I also loved my MSC cruise, so I am happy with this one (for now - haha).

I am far from a high roller and have cut way down on my visits, so I am not sure what the criteria is. If you have a host, I would call them and see if they can get you on the list, if not for this one, maybe the next time.

I got there just before 11 and it took me an hour and 45. When I came out, the line was massive. I spoke to people later that gave up after waiting 2 and a half hours. What a mess!

My husband and I picked up our certificates on Sunday (had to wait in line just over an hour). He got a free Oceanview cabin and I got a free balcony. We wanted a Yacht Club Suite. They told us we could combine our certificates into a regular suite and then upgrade to Yacht Club for $799 total. We decided to do two cruises instead. It cost us $1598 to upgrade my balcony on one cruise and $2397 to upgrade my husband’s Oceanview, both to Yacht Club. A grand total of $3995 for two 7 night cruises in Europe in a Yacht Club Deluxe Suite. Current prices on their website were around $2400 per person per cruise for this Suite so we saved around $5600. We decided to book the newest ship Bellissima for a 7 night Mediterranean next September. We’ll get off the ship and spend one night in Barcelona and then board the Seaview for another 7 nights. Only one port overlaps between the two cruises (Genoa). This will be our first time on MSC and we are looking forward to seeing what they are all about.

You don't mess around, do you? I am still just perusing the catalog and the website. Sounds like you made a great choice and got a fantastic deal!

Yeah. We have been lucky lately as we have been able to do Europe cruises the past couple years all through casino deals, otherwise we wouldn’t really be able to afford the suites. Oh, one thing that they don’t tell you up front is that if you choose to upgrade your cabin above what your certificate gave you have to pay in full at the time of booking. It’s fully refundable up until 90 days prior though.
