Which airline are you coming in ? Look for signs to pickup near luggage claims, to FHV or For Hired Vehicles, including car services, limo & Uber/Lyft ... There is one at Terminal B, still called by some as central terminal, like American & Air Canada.

Parking, pickup & dropoff locations, etc. at LGA is a dynamic and evolving arrangement until further notice & when the airport's long term reconstruction are finished - at least 2 or 3 years from now, not counting the AirTrain (APM) light rail connections via nearby Willets Point (that is CitiField, home of the NY Mets)

This is official airport authority's updated/current link - status & advisories/alerts, et. al. - travelers are advised to always check that prior to and ahead of their in-bound and/or out-bound flight ...

Not all posters provide most of the details of their travel plan and it isn't always easy to provide the best/optimal info or tips, and the best we can offer is generalized guidelines from what we know of.

Whether it's Uber/Lyft or Carmel/Dial 7, local/neighborhood car services or other "deluxe" black car services - their base/dispatcher(s) on-duty and/or the automated App are the best & most effective way of communicating the more "precise" pickup point. Uber, currently, is at Terminal B, Level 2 - signage inside the terminal will point to/direct riders to proceed & wait there.

Riders arriving at Terminal C or D, and possibly A will need to take a free shuttle ride over to B to get picked up. Departing passengers are allowed to be dropped off directly outside at all terminals.

Yellow Taxis have a designated pickup/stand outside all terminals.

  • 3 weeks later...

You look for the signs for the shuttle to the uber parking lot

The shuttle is perhaps 10 minutes at most

The shuttle driver will advise you while on the ride as to when to order your uber

This is due to ongoing airport construction

This is not a problem

You need to be able to maneuver your luggage next to you on the shuttle bus

You will be delivered to a uber parking area

Your worst problem will be finding the uber license plate....which is actually no problem at all

Just keep your party and luggage together and wave them over when you find the car
