Warnemunde / Bad Doberan / Rostock tickets

Hi,

We're intending to take the bus from Warnemunde to Bad Doberan, then train from BD to Rostock where we intend to go around on the trams before returning to Warnemunde.

Assuming we buy 3-zone tickets for the bus, this should allow us travel all day (except for the Molli train). However, do we need to purchase separate short-trip tickets for the trams in Rostock or are the 3-zone tickets valid for the trams as well?

Hi, you do not need separate tickets. The trams, like the trains and buses, are part of the local transport system.

These tickets are also valid on the cross river ferry from Warnemünde to Höhe Dune but not on the boat between Warnemünde and Rostock which is a privately operated river cruise.
