Crowds and Temperatures the first week of July

My husband and I are considering a Mediterranean cruise on Norwegian the first week of July. It leaves from Venice and stops in Dubrovnik, Kotor, Athens, Olympia, and Split. After lots of research on this site, I am reconsidering due to crowds and heat. Is it really that crowded and hot then? Should we reschedule? Thanks!

Did a med cruise in July two years ago the temps were in the 90's and yes very crowded!

Everywhere seems to be crowded year round, but yes, July in any popular European town or beach will be extremely crowded. We have visited Croatia mid June and found it hot, around 32c.

We avoid going abroad in July or August because of the crowds and heat.
