What is a good hotel that’s around 150 and close to port?

Which line are you cruising on? Other Carnival , most use San Pedro Cruise port.

I would posy on the forum for your cruise.

Be very careful of cheap hotels in the Long Beach area. Look at the LGB airport area, but you’ll need to pay for transportation to port. Another would be Hotel Current.

Look at the lists on the West Coast Departure board. Lots of hotel suggestions over there.

Definitely read reviews from multiple sites. I'm from a neighboring city. The areas where both LB and San Pedro ports are can get... sketchy.

I am a fan of Hotel current. It is a contemporary clean hotel. They have a park and cruise option with a shuttle to and from the pier. It includes Breakfast and your car is under surveillance while you are cruising. I have stayed there 6 times with the 7th in a couple months.

Hyatt Regency Long Beach is a nice hotel in your budget close to The Cruise Port. It is in a perfect location in the main part of town. It is right beside a open air shopping mall and about a one minute walk to the harbor which has a nice walkway around the bay with restaurants,shops, aquarium etc. I paid 142 USD.

Hotel Current is so far away from everything and much further away from the cruise port.

Queen Mary is right next to the port (walking distance to the pier) and usually priced in that zone.
