SadieN Posted February 1, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2018 The one on Long Beach Blvd is in a bit of a dicey area. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Bruin Steve Posted February 2, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Safe? As long as you don't leave your room at night, more likely than not you won't be the victim of a crime... Of course, that is a really low standard! It's in a particularly unattractive area...backs up to some very low income apartments...immediately surrounding it are car repair businesses and body shops...across the street are a laundromat and a check cashing business...Up at the corner is a car wash and a McDonalds...and there's a King Taco behind the car wash...In the middle of the street right in front is a Metro rail station--the main line that goes from Downtown Los Angeles through South Central LA, Watts and Compton... The difference between this area and the recommended area of Long Beach is night and day... I would never stay there...but, of course, we all have different standards...
