Arrived around 12:30. Easy, easy check in process

The old doors are now used for debarkation.

The new doors are to the left, closest to the village. The Priority line was none existent. Other line wasn’t too bad.

Directed to the next check in station. Stand up desk, all done with a puny hand held machine.

Took the elevator instead of the ramp. It’s less of a walk than the ramp.

It’s very pretty inside. Two self photo booths are inside.

Large waiting are for Priority, right next to the door for boarding. Large enough for a normal cruise.

There were four security lanes. Went very fast.

Just back from the Splendor. Debarkation is now very different. Once inside the Dome you have a choice of the very, very long ramp down or the elevator. They no longer allow those with luggage to use the escalator. Luggage is now picked up in the old check in area. After luggage pick up you see CBP. There is a dedicated porter line with one or two officers. The other line has 3 or 4 officers. The line was very long but we moved quickly thru. About 30 minutes from the time we were dinged off the ship to exiting the Dome. If you were picking up luggage it took a bit longer.

Oh, parking is a cluster. Larger ship and the Queen Mary special events use a lot of parking.

We just returned from our Splendor cruise. Long Beach Terminal is very nice and well organized. Cruise before us was delayed in returning and debarking so they emailed us to arrive an hour later for checkin. Since we arrived at LAX in the morning and had private transfer booked, we went straight to port anyway. Arrived about 1015 and Platinum/Diamond and FTTF lines were just being set up though terminal not opened yet. Terminal opened at 1120 and we went in right away (front of FTTF line) at same time as Diamond/Platinum. Boarding did not start until an hour later as they were still getting other passengers off and preparing ship. Once boarding started at 1120, it was only minutes before FTTF were in after Diamond/Platinum and then all the general boarding started. Disembarking was also well organized and easy. Many people did carry off luggage which started just before 0830. Lines moved quickly through border control.
