How close do the ships dock?

Hi

We are booked on the P & O Norway Northern Lights leaving on 9th March from Southampton on the Aurora. Ports of calls are Andalsnes, Tomso, Alta, Stavanger. Can you let me know how close the ship docks in relation to the towns i.e. are they walking distance off the ship. Stavanger I know the ship docks very close to the shops but have never been to the other ports.
