October weather

Thinking of doing Escape 10/14/18. Will is still be hot to do the beach? Have been to Bermuda a few times, but in the summer. Never did NVM. We usually do RC. Are there shows on the ship the evenings the ship is docked?

It will be hot enough to do the beach. The major weather risk at that time of the year is from tropical storms/hurricanes, which are more common In the September-October time frame. "More common" doesn't mean they're going to happen, just that they're more likely than at other times.

Not sure what you mean by "NVM". Do you mean NCL? We've been to Bermuda on NCL many times, and will be on the Sept. 30 Escape cruise. We've also taken many other cruise lines to Bermuda...Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Cunard, Azamara. To me the destination of Bermuda is more important than the particular cruise line.

Yes. Meant NCL. We have been to horshoe beach and the caves. Unfortunately my boy friend doesn't snorkel or do the fun water stuff. Looking for other things to do.

We went towards the end of October last year. It was beautiful and the air temperature was perfect for enjoying the beach, although the water itself was too cool for me to get in.

We went 3 years ago in October and I have to say it was cold! So it can be hit or miss. I mean people were buying jackets off the ship and I remember the tour guide saying it was really unusual to have cold temps (60s) and the wind was kicking!

We went in 2016, early October and it was hot. Dodged hurricane Nicole before she hit the island and had nothing but blue skies
