I was just there last week. The vests are free for any one who may need one. They are hanging in or near any of the lifguard stations, and also near the entrance to the snorkel lagoon. All youd have to do is grab one as you walk by. They do this for those of us (like me)who bring our own snorkel gear.

As far as the fins are concerned, I am not sure, but if you go to the window on the island and ask, I am reasonably sure that someone would hand them to you if thats all you need. Get the vest first or on the way out of Gills though.

We bought some nice snorkeling kits (Body Glove) at Costco a few years ago for about $30. They came in their own bags that sling across your back kind of like a back pack (but with only one strap). We take these with us on every vacation, it has saved us a ton of money on renting gear and we can snorkel any time at our leisure.
