WorkingUpToPlatinum Posted April 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2018 Hello cruisers! I've been on a few cruises before, mostly on the Carnival Paradise. However, for our honeymoon, my fiance booked us back to back sailings on the Carnival Horizon in December. We are beyond excited, cause there seems like SO much more to do on this ship, including specialty dining. We have reservations for Jiji Asian Kitchen, Cucina del Capitano, and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse. Having never been to specialty dining on any cruise before, I am wondering how formal we should plan on being? None or our reservations are on cruise elegant nights, as we enjoy being in the main dining room for those evenings. I should also mention, that we enjoy dressing for the occasion, so we don't mind dressing up at all. Just as I start to squirrel our outfits away and come up with packing lists, I would really like to be mindful of any extra formal clothes we might need or want for these reservations!:D Thanks in advance for your opinions and advice! waterbug123 Posted April 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2018 Specialty restaurants are generally not "formal." Dress like you're going out for date night, smart casual, country club chic, etc.
