Hotels with day rates in Papeete

We are trying to find a nice hotel with a day rate after disembarking from our cruise this fall. I write to about five hotels but have only heard back from Le Meridian.

We see very mediocre reviews, we want a nice beach and or pool area with the ability to get drinks and lunch.mdies anyone have any first hand knowledge of this property and or any other suggestions.

We are staying there as well, one night pre and one night post cruise next February. I have not read any negative reviews so hoping you get a good response to this thread

While we returned last week we tried for a day rate in 2017 and no resorts would offer us a day rate. They do offer this through many cruise lines and your travel agent may be able to snag one but we were not successful.

I inquired at Manava Suites Resort a few months back and it was pretty pricey- about $200 and I don't recall that they even let you use the pool area! I booked an Airbnb that has a pool and a gorgeous view. The owner is going to pick us up at the port and return us to the airport. The only thing you can't have there are munchies served, but the owner will also stop at a grocery store to pick up items. If you're interested I can post the name here.

The InterContinental was FABULOUS, JUST DREAMY! Beautiful infinity pool good food at the restaurants we were thrilled, I wouldn’t mind staying at this resort for several nights, we loved it!

Zoey, did you stay at IC for the day room or overnight?
