Good news...we will be flying out of LGA next month.

It's a small but important step forward, a new milestone for the major airport reconstruction work. This should help ease the traffic heading to (from) Delta's Terminal C & D.

Drove past LGA twice this week, my advice, expect congestion and still plan extra travel time, regardless ... U.S. Tennis Open, nearby is coming back later this month, on top of possible extra vehicles to/from CitiField if the Mets are playing at home.
