We are on nowerigan...and have a full afternoon and evening to spend visiting the day before our cruise....

#1 Where would you stay. I actually called a hotel in San pedro...and they recommended we stay in Long Beach...because a cab is $20 each way into the Long Beach busy fun areas from SP.....(we have already arranged/priced a shuttle from LAX to the area). So he said we are better off going to Long beach overnight and walking around...and getting a cab for about $20 one way the next morning.

#2 We are on a BUUUDGET. Anyone recommend a less expensive...yet somewhat close to things in Long BEach Hotel?

#3 Or if San Pedro is the way to go.....recommendations here?? We looked into the Vagabond.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!!!

1. There is the Hyatt right across from the marina. The Queen Mary would be a unique choice and there is the Coast Hotel that many Carnival cruise passengers have stayed at with favorable reviews. There are so many hotels right down by the marina to chose from.... just google Long Beach hotels.

2. Shoreline Village is right down at the marina across from the Queen Mary. You can walk around and enjoy the scenary of drop in at one of the many restaurants that line the boardwalk. (We were just there today!) They have harbor boat tours that you can take that are as cheap as $15 per person.

3. Sorry, it's been a long time since I've been to San Pedro - can't help you!

Good luck and enjoy your cruise!
