Monaco-Barcelona Cruise on 8/18

Been a couple years since I posted. Today , I booked the 7 night Monaco to Barcelona cruise as a gift to my Mother for being awesome!

question: where is the port in relationship to the yacht club, what hotel is good and what is the best way to get there from the airport in Nice!!

I can't answer your question about hotels or transportation from Nice as we only embarked from MC once and we took the included transfer with Regent on the day of sailing (our first cruise, we haven't done THAT again). But if you're booking with Regent air your transfers should be included.

Every time we've been in MC we've tied up right in the harbor across from the yacht club. Plenty of nice hardware to ogle. :D

Riviera Marriott de Monaco lovely hotel very conveniently located. Also they will arrange for car and driver to pick you up at airport in Nice. We stayed there prior to last cruise out of Monte Carlo.

For what its worth, we are doing this same cruise next month (first time on Regent) and we bought airfare through Regent and all our transfers are included and they put us up at the Fairmont which looks really nice.

I went for the easy route and had them do it all. I can let you know how it all works out in the middle of May!

I booked Le Meridien Beach. I did not go with RSS for flights and hotel.

Also doing this itinerary on Explorer next month but staying overnight in Nice. We like the drive along the coast from Nice to MC. Enjoy your cruise.

And I'll be on the same itinerary July 2. Did it the easy/carefree way for me. Air, hotel, transfer all through Regent. Of course the day of the cruise, we may just get a cab and not wait for the group transfer!

This is timely. We are booking the Sept 20 cruise which is departs Monte Carlo. We are in Concierge so Regent will be putting us up as well. If it's a Fairmont that'll be fine. Never had a bad Fairmont stay.
