Has anyone done the Three Card Poker Showdown Grand Finale Event cruise before?

Hello, was wondering if anyone has done the 3 card Poker finale event before and If you can tell me what you thought and how it works? I won seats last year for this May but didn't book cruise and now just won 2 more seats for Magic in October and booked it. Thanks!

We did, while it was fun, it is all about luck with a little strategy mixed in. Each round has 7 players that play 7 hands with the 2 highest chip counts at the end moving on until the last table.

They completed a different round each day if my memory serves me correctly, and with only 7 hands, a round doesn't take too long. In the beginning, the first round has like 3 or for groups the go through the tables one right after another. Please keep in mind, the Casino is open while these are going on and the ship will not be at sea. They have extra tables set up to accommodate the tournament and all the extra poker players on board when the tournament is not going on. I want to say that there were at least 2 dozen 3 card poker tables going all cruise, and it was not easy to find a seat.

Hi Melody,

I won 2 passes over the weekend as well for the Oct 14 cruise on Carnival Magic. Do you have anyone in your group that would want to buy both passes?

I also have 2 available if anyone is interested.
