Looking at an obstructed ocean view cabin on the Queen Elizabeth. Can someone tell me how obstructed the view really is? Can I see anything at all?

Thanks.

If you go onto the Cunard web site top right hand corner click on help and advice once there type in obstructed view in the search box you will find pictures there.

Hope that helps.

How do I persuade DH that the cruise I've seen for May 2020 is the one he really really wants to do and book an oceanview cabin as well?? :D:D

One approach is to wait until about 4-5 months prior to the date, when the cost of any unsold cabins get reduced significantly. There is always a risk that you cannot select your exact preference in cabin, but I just returned from a 2-week return Trans-Atlantic voyage on QM2 in a Deck 12 Balcony for which I paid less than a low-deck interior or sheltered or obstructed-view cabin.

I simply tracked the prices month-by-month until they dropped into my price-range, about 4 months prior to departure.
