We are traveling with friends. Is it possible to book our specialty reservations together online? Can I use my reservation to reserve a table for four? Or do we need to wait until we board to arrange this?

Yes you may. You will need their booking numbers. Enter them all and you are good to make reservations. Not sure how it works if y'all have different suite levels. I'm sure others will know.

Thank you. We are in the same suite level so that's one less complication!

When you go to book your time slots it will have a tab to invite guests this is where they will ask for their booking number

Any you book for them will use up their allotment for pre booking the specialties

Worthy of considering: O drinks are $10-25 depending @ The pour is on the skimpy side most wishing a regular drink order doubles...or more. a 18% tip is added to everything with booze in it $25 corkage per bottle.

We’ve never spent $100-150pp on drinks on any cruiseline. If we did then we’d end up with cirrhosis! ....

. You would be surprised, very surprised to see on Caribbean and South Pacific cruises

As for the two happy hours being like a Christmas sale in Walmart, there are not enough people onboard to be that busy. Most of the time when we enjoyed the 5-6 happy hour in the Martini lounge our friends and us were the only people drinking there.

While I have only been on 9 or so cruises, I must say that I have never, ever seen martinis uncrowded... Finding a seat was hard enough...... and you being the ONLY ones in the entire bar!!! Unbelievably a miracle nothing short. I admire your idea of not enough people on board, unless you sail on the 4000 yo 5000 pax ships.

It's pretty rare but I've been on Oceania cruises where there were hardly any people in Martinis at happy hour.

We were with friends and at the 5-6pm happy hour it was just us 4. Later in the evening we always found a table for 4 pax.

Ive been on 20 cruises but I’ve never been on a ship with 4000+ pax. The biggest I’ve been on is Celebrity’s Solstice class and even then we could always find a seat in a bar. Your idea of busy might be different from mine. If I can get a seat then it’s not busy.

Ah.....That differs from mine. ALL I have seen is standing room only ( or sit in the casino or passageway aft) at 5 min after 5 to20 min after 6. I got the prem package last few times and avoided any happy hour.... As to price, there are a lot of top shelf liquor that run 20 to 30 a pour + 18%. Thats 4 drinks a day !!! and thats not counting wine at 18 to 22 a glass....

Hawaiidan I got off Insignia just over 1 week ago and yes you were right it was standing room only in Martini bar at 5-6pm happy hour. It must have only been my previous Oceania cruise, Athens to Athens, that everyone was teetotal except the 2 of us and our 2 friends. [emoji33][emoji23]

I have a question in regards to a B2B on Riviera with booking your specialty restaurants. We’re doing a TA to Rome and staying on Rome to Venice. We’re booked for the first cruise Miami to Rome 2020, and will book on January 21/20 for our restaurant choices. So with the 2nd

Booking ( will be October with our Oceania cruise consultant he is booking it on 17th) will it be combined so I can do all the restaurants at once or do I have to wait since it is an additional booking and do those bookings later? Sorry newbie here with O but not to cruising!

Thank you

Denise 😊

The Specialty Restaurant reservations open up by cruise segment, and are segregated to that voyage only.

That depends somewhat on how the OP booked the "B2B." By "staying on" does s/he mean an actual second cruise (in which case there would be two distinct pre-booking reservation start dates)? Or did OP book an advertised/sold "extended voyage" consisting of two segments but with a single booking number? In that case the pre-booking start date for both segments would coincide with the start date for the first segment. The only caveat is that the allotted reservations for each segment must be made for dates within that segment. (e.g., four per segment rather than all eight in segment one). The restaurant booking feature on the O website helps by requiring that you select the appropriate segment for each allotment in an "extended voyage"

Actual second cruise no advertised /sold extended voyage. Booking through my Oceania cruise consultant.

This will be second cruise continuing on in same suite.

I figured that it would be a second booking. With HAL

B2B are under same booking.

THANKYOU Flatbush Flyer! You explained it very well.

So you're saying you have two booking numbers and two separate invoices?

Hi ORV,

Yes to your question. Oceania cruise consultant that I have said it would be 2 booking numbers. That is why I was questioning my reservations for the restaurants.

With HAL they would be combined B2B or Collection cruise under one booking number.

I really appreciate everyone on this board who respond so quickly to help.

So looking forward to Oceania

Denise 😊

Oceania may still combine the B2B under one booking number

Do you have insider info on the April 2020 cruises for Riviera??

They could still combine the TA with the following cruise to make a Grand Voyage

Hi LHT28!

October 17th the Mediterranean cruises will be out what was told to me from my Oceania cruise consultant for April 2020. Our trip starts from our home town in San Diego 3/11/20 on HAL (Rotterdam) to FLL. HAL does not have any TA’s to Europe The Med to continue on with till November so we decided to go with Oceania since they were out and we would have 5days from our first cruise to get on Riviera in Miami on the 31st. Getting into Rome April,15th! Nothing else is out there for any bookings so when we asked our cruise consultant he said OCT 17th they will be out and he will add Rome to Venice also told me a 2nd booking number will be added. So Grand Voyage is a Collectors Cruise with HAL.

Will see how things go for us.

Hope they are doing Rome to Venice :halo:

My point was they can still make 2 cruises into a GV

The correct term is "extended voyage." "grand voyage" is yet another advertised/sold category reserved for several connected segments (often multiple "extended voyages" with a few extra perks.

If two adjacent segments are not advertised as an established "extended voyage," they can be combined as a custom "extended voyage" with a similar price discount and a single booking number. However, if those adjacent segments are advertised as an "extended voyage" they may not be booked as single B2B cruises with different booking numbers. Some folks would like to do this because, depending on the length of each segment, they might accrue an additional O Club point or perks and/or be eligible for individual price drop adjustments associated with a specific segment.

It all sounds very complicated until you sit down with a glass of wine and read/consider all the fine print along with your notes from discussions onboard with the "O Club" ambassador.

where do you find the extended voyages listed?

A variety of the printed materials (both the fancy bound ones and the zeroxed ones onboard will list the official "extended voyages" and, if currently marketed, the separate "grand voyages" (usually just before the "world cruise."

However, complicating all this is that the web site "find a cruise" lumps both the extended and grand voyages under a single selection named "grand voyages" (and it is important to note that such voyages will not be listed in the various "region" selections (rather, only in grand voyages).

At the bottom line, the important distinction remains that there are a few more perks for "grand" voyages that are not included in "extended" voyages.
