Seaweed

I know many beaches in the Caribbean are suffering with huge amounts of seaweed this year, but I haven’t seen anything mentioned about the Bahamas. Is Nassau or the private island Half Moon Cay having any issues?

Hi there...did you ever find an answer to this? I'm considering a cruise and concerned as well. Came back from Punta Cana weeks ago and the seaweed was bad. Would like to avoid that situation again if possible.

I did not receive any info unfortunately, but did read today that Grand Turk had a lot of seaweed also ☹️. We leave next month for our cruise - I will try to remember to report back.

Simply walk down past Jacks Shack. We went to the mega triton shipwreck and the beach was absolutely amazing a few feet from there. Wouldn’t swim in front of Jacks last week.
