Unless you have a group, taxis are reasonably priced and are readily available.

Agree about the availability of taxis, a couple of years ago we pre booked and had to wait 30 minutes for the poor driver to get from the dock entrance past all the other ships offloading at the same time, meanwhile there was a long line of taxis available and ready to go.

We left Marina in Barcelona on Tuesday morning (Nov. 21st) and there was a long line of cabs waiting. To be fair, we were among the last to leave the ship, so perhaps people who left the ship earlier had to wait longer. We didn't have to wait at all.

I looked into a private service to take us from our hotel yesterday morning to the airport, but found that a cab was much cheaper. The hotel ordered it for us and the cab arrived before we got downstairs. We weren't late, he was just early!
