Can anyone tell me the smoking areas on the Golden princess

are they more strict and limit the areas if the cruise is coming out of Australia

as smoking polices are very strict in this country now

Princess ships cruising out of Australia have NO indoor smoking areas, only the designated outdoor areas.

Yep there was no smoking anywhere inside. Think it was because in Australia

Yes! All Princess ships (not just the Diamond) cruising from Australia have no indoor smoking areas.

Current info for smoking areas on Ruby Princess. Please and thank you.

No aft smoking areas.  Smoking area near the bar one deck up from middle pool in mid ship area.  Speakeasy cigar lounge attached to the casino.  Starboard aft promenade deck area standing only with a cig disposal box attached to wall.  We were just on her last week.

For any who wish to smoke INSIDE ,,, Speakeasy is the place to go!

Can anyone please tell me the smoking areas on the sun princess please??

There are three areas. From memory all are on the Port side but the I'm only sure of the first one...

A tabled area near the Sundowners Bar at the rear of Deck 14
One corner of the pool area on deck 12
An area at the rear of the Promenade on Deck 7

No inside areas

Sorry if this has been covered, but I can't figure out the search feature in the new forums.

What about Crown Princess?

The smoking areas on Crown are the same as on Ruby.

where is smoking area on Island Princess?  thanks so much

The Island Princess has the Churchill Lounge as well as deck 15 starboard mid aft

Just adding .... Churchill Lounge (deck 7 ... mid ship ... starboard side ... across from Crooner's) is enjoyable because it has window views of the outside ... not hidden away in a dark place.  :classic_cool:

On Ruby Princess, are any of the outdoor deck smoking areas sheltered from rain and/or wind?

The outside smoking area on deck 16 (beside Tradeswinds Bar ... port side) has some tables & chairs and is covered & enclosed except in the very front so there is  protection for the rain & wind.

Thanks, I thought so. Don't they also have an indoor smoking room near the casino - generally for cigar smokers?

Got off this ship a month ago.  There was no smoking in the Casino!!  They said it was Japan rules (go figure).  The indoor Churchill Lounge was smoking.  Other than the casino, all the usual places to smoke outside are the same.  Made my playing in the casino scarce.
