I’m traveling to Sydney in March 2019 for a cruise on the Majestic Princess.

I have reservations in 2 places as I’m deciding where I want to stay.

Devere Hotel★★★

$255 US for 2 nights.

ibis Sydney World Square, 382 Pitt Street

Sydney, 2000, Australia, $232 for 2 nights.

What do people think about these locations? Anyone stayed at either of these places & if so what did you think?

I am aware of the locations & was wondering if you & others have a preference as to what area you would stay in & why? Perhaps someone has stayed in one of these hotels & can share there experiences.

Based on TripAdvisor The Devere Hotel is rated 153rd out of 186 hotels in Sydney.

The Ibis Sydney World Square is rated 101st out of 186.

If location isn't a concern I think the choice is obvious.

Hi - getting around on public transport will be easier from the Ibis. Enjoy the cruise!

The Ibis at World Square would be far more convenient for sightseeing, plus there are plenty of cheap eateries around World Square, mostly Asian cuisine.
