Tax on liquor from Fun Shop?

I know about the delivery charge/gratuity. Someone mentioned that if it is delivered the first day there is ALSO a local tax charged. True?

Depends on the port, and in some ports, you can't get the first day.

Test different options on delivery days and times and pick one that suits you.

In some ports it depends on when you have it delivered. In Baltimore I selected delivery in the evening on the first day and didn't have to pay tax. Interestingly the bottle was in the cabin when we boarded, anyway.
