Are PG Shore Excursions Cancelled Due to Rain?

When you get your excursion certificates on board, read them. There are definitely some that say that they will not be cancelled due to rain. If you don't want to go if it rains, and the forecast is for rain (as opposed to showers), then cancel it if you don't want to be rained on .If you cancel the previous day, you won't be charged. If it's iffy, we would just bring rain coats, but that's a personal choice. For us, the cost of an excursion is not significant compared to the cost of getting to LA and the cost of the cruise. We did have to cancel a few excursions for a back problem, and we did it the day before with no problems. We did 2 weeks in late January/early February last year, and again in early December. We had only one day that was cloudy and drizzly all day. It was after our December cruise, and since it was our last day staying at the IC Tahiti and we had to fly out at 11pm we just hung out inside and rested for our flight back.
