Anyone going or been on AMA Certa Gems of southwest Europe

Going on our first river cruise in Sept., 2018 on the AMA Waterways Gems of Southwest Europe. Only have done one Princess ocean cruise around South America. Any Tips? Jo Fuller

We did that cruise with AMA last October and it was fantastic! It was our 3rd river cruise with them and thought it was the best one. We did the pre cruise in Vienna for 2 nights and the post cruise in Budapest for 2 nights, I believe this year they are adding an additional night in Brasov. We missed Mohacs and Vukovar because of a bridge repair and had to be bused from Budapest to Novi Sad, but got to spend a day in Constanta, Romania to make up for missing the 2 ports. Florintine. our cruise manager was wonderful, weather was awesome (summer like temps) and the pre and post hotels and activities were excellent. You will have a wonderful time!
