We are taking this cruise/tour in March, 2019. From everything I've read, it seems like we will be fairly exhausted from just the included excursions. Is there a place on the site that tells you what times we will be doing these tours? Are just the included ones enough? Thanks

Here is how Viking operates in China: When you arrive, you will be assigned to a group and a group escort (in your case, everyone on the bus will be doing the Undiscovered China itinerary). You will be with that group for the rest of your stay in China. You will be given the name of group leader and instructions where to meet on the morning of Day 2 when you arrive on Day 1. Each day thereafter, your escort will tell you what time and where to meet for the following day's touring. The groups have a staggered start most days and there are some days when the order of sites on the website might not be the order in which your group sees them.

There is nothing on the website that will tell you the times however, there is a day by day schedule that you can consult to see what is planned for each day. https://www.vikingrivercruises.com/cruise-destinations/asia/undiscovered-china/2019-shanghai-beijing/index.html#itineraryday/2 and then use the navigation arrows to proceed from day to day.

The included tours are plenty but that did not stop us from doing the Tang Dynasty show in Xi'an and had their been some optional sightseeing tours when we toured in 2010, I am sure we would have signed up for them.

In Shanghai and on the ship, you will be with pax who are doing the other two China itineraries. In Chongqing, you will head to Lijiang while the other itineraries head off to Tibet or Xi'an accordingly.
