Miami vs FLL.

Hi friends, we would normally fly out of Fort Lauderdale but there is a slight difference of flights between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, that would get us home about two hours earlier. I was wondering if a 11:30 a.m. flight out of Miami is doable. I know 11:30 is a flight time that cruise lines say is acceptable. But we will be getting into Port Everglades and I know the Fort Lauderdale airport is extremely close. I'm not very clear on how long it would take to get to the Miami Airport. Feedback is appreciated.

Keep in mind that its approximately 33 miles from Port Everglades to MIA - count on a 45 - 60 minute drive time depending

When did Florida move to the west coast???

FLL is close to the cruise port so you could make your 11:30 flight.

MIA is a good hour away with traffic. I'd not book a flight that early from there if the port is Fort Lauderdale.

You can hit the blue exclamation point at the top right and then you can give Cruise Critic a message to remove your post

It's OK, mistakes happen. I was just pointing you to where you would get a better answer. I'm sure a moderator will be by soon and will move the post.
