You could have been mate. Patchetts Pork pies are available in most Woolworths Delicatessens, about $3.50. Eat 'em cold with a nice chutney, pickled onion and a lump of cheddar.

Stop press: Dick Smith Foods has closed due to poor sales and big losses, Dick blames Aldi. I will have to get out and buy a hundred jars of Ozemite which is GF. His Tomato Sauce is not bad either, but twice the price of Aldi. So no more of Dick' sauce on one's pie.

I prefer my pies fresh, bakery's rather than commercial..;p

I often eat a pie with cutlery, especially if it is in a restaurant. Otherwise it is finger food like the one I had just now. Bacon and Cheese (meat) pie.
