I did with my previous cruise and then transferred my booking to my TA for free gratuities but it’s too late to do that since it’s past final payment. And the free gratuities were a better deal than the obc or 5%.

I just booked today.

So, if I have booked 2 cabins, with 2 different booking numbers, can I also redeem 2 myvegas rewards and have 1 for each cabin?

Do you mean 2 different cabins under the same name? I'm not sure how that works. I do know that you can redeem 2 MyVegas rewards for the same room as long as each person in the room has their own MyVegas account from which to redeem.

Cabin 1 is under my name, and cabin 2 under my son's name. On the info that we provide to club royale, there is a place to list purchasers name and then guest name. That is why I wondered if I could apply OBC to their stateroom as well.

I have no experience with this, so I can't give you a good answer. I've never understood why they ask for a guest name. I don't know if it means you can buy the reward for somebody else or if they're just asking for the name of the 2nd person in the room. I guess it can't hurt for you to give it a try. I'd be surprised if it works, but I'm pretty sure you can return the reward and get your points back if it doesn't.

I already have confirmation for my OBC, and have sent royal note asking if I can redeem another reward for the other booking. Just waiting to hear what they say.

I got my $100 OBC with MSC today, two days after I booked with MSC. I called the casino number and gave them the confirmation code I got in the rewards email and now have the OBC. Easy. This is second time I have used it. First time was RCCL. I don't cruise till April 19

Hello All,

We just booked through Next Cruise a few days ago before we got off the ship. I saw in a post at the beginning from 2014 that the MyVegas OBC is not available if you book through Next Cruise. Does anyone know if the 10% discount is available?

Here is the post I am referring to:

I believe the T&Cs have changed since then.

2 Questions. 1) Do you book the cruise before or after redeeming the reward at myVegas? Is the booking considered a casino guest booking with all the perks attached? Thanks everyone for your insight and help!

You can do either, but you only have 30 days after booking to redeem your rewards for the cruise. We found out the 10% was only valid on a cruise that traveled in 2018. We are leaving April 2019 so we were not eligible for the 10% off. As for the OBC, we weren't eligible either bc my husband got a $100 credit from the ships casino off our cruise. I asked if I could get it bc I didn't have any casino credit and they said no only one casino reward per trip, but if we both did a MyVegas one it would have worked. You just cant combine different casino rewards.

I booked a cruise in July and cashed 50000 points for an RCL OBC of $100. This past weekend we booked another cruise and tried cash in 50000 points last night, I was unable to do so as it stated that I had reached my purchase limit for this reward. If I read correctly, I can claim 2 rewards for RCL within 180 day period.

Does anyone know why I cannot claim the same reward twice? I may have missed something in the fine print

Thanks

If you go into "Reward Terms and Conditions" it says "This reward is limited to 1 per myVegas player".
