The last 16 games have had France knocking out Argentina and Uruguay have knocking out Portugal, both winners will progress to meet each other in the quarter finals. The two of the best players in the world in Ronaldo and Messi are now going home.

Russia beat Spain in penalties 4-3 after a 1-1 draw and extra time.

Croatia beat Denmark in penalties 3-2 after the same score.

Brazil beat Mexico 2-0 and Belgium beat Japan 3-2 this am.

Sweden beat Switzerland and the game between England and Colombia is heading for penalties.

England win the penalty shoot out.

Quarter finals are

France vs Uruguay,

Russia vs Croatia,

Brazil vs Belgium,

Sweden vs England.

France won 2-0 over Uruguay.

Croatia won on penalties 3-2, after 1-1 all full time and 2-2 all after extra time, over Russia.

Belgium won 2-1,over Brazil.

England won 2-0 over Sweden.

Semi finals.

England vs Croatia - Thursday morning.

Evenly matched at half time, 0-0 but either side had chances. Belgium look impressive.

France through to the final after their 1-0 win. They got the goal and sat back and defended stoutly against the Belgium onslaught.

England out, Croatia through to the final. they won 2-1 in extra time. Croatia vs France.

Watched the games on Sapphire Princess/Royal Princess recently, they put it on MUTS and in the Vista Lounges on the ships, sold plenty of brown lemonades during the game as well.

An exciting first half, France winning 2-1 with an own goal and a Penalty after VAR. Croatia still in it playing much better and creating many chances as well as scoring a great goal.
