Question re: MicroSDXC UHS-3 memory card

Yes. UHS III is fully backwards compatible but the increased read/write speed won't be used by a UHS I device. A partial benefit is increased transfer speed when downloading images to a PC or tablet with a UHS III compatible reader. You could also look at it as future-proofing for your next device.
