Perhaps call again and speak with somebody else. As a prime member, you are eligible for a free cruise...

Happy Dance! 25 days later and finally got verification! Complimentary cruise acquired :)

Some people were telling me that if a couple each had a free annual comp cruise they weren’t allowed to book 2 comp cruises. That never made sense to me. I sure hope we can each book one next year if my wife gets prime and I am Prime or Signature

Hi

The way that was explained to me when I called was that we can’t book two cabins on the same sailing each using our free cruise.

I am going on my first Royal cruise in Sept, but have cruised 10x on Carnival so not new to cruising or Casinos :). Just curious, how do points accumulate on Royal, such as at Slots which tend to be what I do the most when cruising??

Anything I need to know to make my experience the best it can be in a Royal Casino. Any info appreciated!

Thanks!

1 point for every $5.00 on slots. Video poker is 1 point for every $10.00. Free interior starts at 2400 points, ocean view 3600 points, balcony for 4800 points. You also earn dollars off it you are below the 2400.

After you get 1000 points see the host they can set you up for free drinks if you don't have the package. Don't look for them to send you to dinners and such like carnival does.

Personally I think the most important thing is to ensure Casino Royale has your email and postal mail addresses. CR sends out several push offers per year to its gamblers (including those of us who are not whales). Add in getting to PRIME level (2500 accumulated points in the program year) gets you a comp inside cabin on a sailing of your choice in the next program year. There are a few exceptions on the choice of sailing such as not holidays and not longer than 8 nights but still a great perk.

RCCL $5 per 1 point on regular slots vs carnival $3 per point .... after earn 2,5K free drinks (but it valid for whole year and it accumulative)...Carnival 1,5K and valid just for next cruise ...Also by playing with RCCL you know exactly what you get for particular amount of points ...with Carnival -no idea... RCCL have "moneyback" known as free play but need to use on this particular cruise

Some perks same like COMP dinner/spa/strawberries/champane are same on both

after you reach 10K in current sailing (up to then host) they can take off money from you bill from particular categories like spa/shopping/dinner... and after 25K next step :)

Sometimes I am getting like 2 wine and 2 champane that I dont need it (have free drinks already :) )and giving back to my fav dealers/ host / manager

FUN DAY!!!! I have done this three times. Playa Mia facility very nice! Bus takes you there. You can take bus back to ship or if you want to leave before the bus goes back someone at Playa Mia can help arrange a taxi for you (and you pay for that.) Private area for the group. One year it was set up away from others under a tent on the beach and our own bbq. Food good! All you can eat and all you can drink. Use of beach chairs, umbrellas, pool. Water slides in the ocean. There were also strolling musicians. There was free internet but doesn’t work if you are away from their central area. There are people doing massages who work for Playa Mia - and you pay for that (much less than on the ship). There also are shops (natch...) Not sure if I am going this year as we have November cruise and then December will be visiting grands.

I just got my invite for the 4th Annual Beach Bash BBQ. Has anyone does this before? Would appreciate your thoughts!

We just received that email invite as well. I doubt we can use it as we already have three fall cruises and an overseas land trip scheduled then we cruise again for New Years and again in February for our mid-winter escape. I'm sure I will collect a lot of points over the next 7 or 8 months plus I still have to squeeze in our free comp cruise before March 31st. It's really tough having these first world problems. ;p

We haven't been to Playa Mia in some time as that is one of RCL's shore excursion destinations. We prefer to go a bit further to Nachi Cocom which is about a half mile past Playa Mia. My memory of Playa Mia was a lot of water slides and activities for the kids and the food and drinks were fine.

We have not seen that one, and never received the email about our level from Royal. It is making me wonder again if they have messed up our email address somehow. Will see if I get the snail mail copy that should let me know if email is messed up.

I still haven't received the email about the new program, so it's not just you. But at least I am on their list for email/postal mail offers...

Every time I look at anything regarding my booked cruises, I get an email asking me if I want to go back in and look again. If I look twice in one day, I get 2 emails. Yet I can’t get an email from Casino Royale about anything, including my new level which is Signature. Not only don’t I get their emails, they can’t send me duplicates.

I spend enough money in their casinos to pay for an IT department that works.

What is the subject line of the level notification email? Still have not received anything yet that I know of unless I missed it.

'Your new Club Royale tier status' is the subject line of the notification email. DH received his email 6/6/18 concerning his 'choice' level but I did not and I am 'signature'.
